Contestants must be currently enrolled at
the University of
Central Missouri. |

Contestants must be a full-time student or
enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during
the semester in which the competition is held, unless
the student is in the semester of their graduation and a
reduced load will meet graduation requirements. |

3. |
Contestants may compete in no more than 4
regional and 4 national SAFECONs. |
|
4. |
Contestants acting as pilot-in-command in flying
events must possess at least a Private Pilot
certificate with appropriate category and class
ratings. |

5. |
Contestants who possess a Flight Instructor
Certificate may compete in a maximum of 2
regional and 2 national SAFECONs once they
obtain their CFI (may not exceed overall limit
of 4 regionals and 4 nationals). |

6. |
Contestants who hold
or have ever held an Airline Transport Pilot
(ATP) certificate or have accumulated more than
1500 total flight hours are not eligible
to compete. |

7. |
Contestants who hold or have ever held a
Mechanic/Technician certificate are not
eligible to compete in the preflight event. |
